Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the northwest Kimberley coast through to the central Pilbara. A trough will weaken and become fairly broad across northern WA from Friday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A broad trough extends from the central Pilbara through to the Eucla and will slowly during east on Friday. A weak front and middle level disturbance will move over the southwest corner during Friday, before moving eastwards over southern parts of the state on Saturday and Sunday. Another weak cold front will move over the southwest of the state on Sunday and Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 10 October
Mostly clear.

Forecast for Friday 11 October
Showers over areas southwest of a line Lancelin to Hopetoun, with thunderstorms possible in the afternoon and early evening.

Forecast for Saturday 12 October
Showers and possible thunderstorms over the South West Land Division, far south of the Gascoyne, Goldfields and western Eucla, easing from the west during the day.

Forecast for Sunday 13 October
Showers and possible thunderstorms over the far east of the South West Land Division, eastern Goldfields, far southern Interior and the Eucla, contracting east during the day and clearing in the evening. Showers developing southwest of a line from Mandurah to Hopetoun during the day.

Forecast for Monday 14 October
Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division.
