Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough of low pressure extends from the inland Kimberley to the Pilbara coast. A trough will move through the Pilbara on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies south of the State with a high moving into the Bight Monday evening. A trough will deepen off the the west coast early Tuesday before moving inland later Tuesday evening and continuing eastwards across southern WA during Wednesday and Thursday. A weak cold front will brush the southwest corner of the State on Friday.

Forecast for Tuesday 8 October
Showers and thunderstorms about the northwest Kimberley in the afternoon and evening. Gusty east to northeasterly winds through central and eastern parts of the State in the morning.

Forecast for Wednesday 9 October
Showers and thunderstorms about the northwest Kimberley in the afternoon and evening. Gusty northeasterly winds over the Interior, Kimberley and adjacent parts in the morning.

Forecast for Thursday 10 October
Most sunny.

Forecast for Friday 11 October
Showers over areas southwest of a line Perth to Bremer Bay.
