Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough of low pressure lies over the western Kimberley and inland Pilbara. Another branch of the trough lies from the eastern Pilbara to the northern Interior. A trough will begin to move through the Pilbara during Tuesday and Wednesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies just north of the south coast and will move south of the state during Monday. A trough will deepen off the the west coast early Tuesday before moving inland later Tuesday evening and during Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 6 October
Some showers about the south coast. Sowers and thunderstorms possible about the far north Kimberley coast.

Forecast for Monday 7 October
Showers near the south coast west of Israelite Bay.

Forecast for Tuesday 8 October
Generally clear conditions with gusty easterly winds over the Interior and adjacent parts in the morning.

Forecast for Wednesday 9 October
Most sunny. Gusty northeasterly winds over the Interior and eastern Kimberley in the morning. The chance of a thunderstorm over the southeastern Goldfields, western Eucla and South East Coastal district.

Forecast for Thursday 10 October
Most sunny. The chance of a thunderstorm over the far southern Goldfields, western Eucla and eastern parts of the South East Coastal district.
