Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad surface trough extends from the western Pilbara through to the central Kimberley and will drift northwards on Saturday as a ridge develops over the south of the State. A middle level disturbance will develop over the North Interior and adjacent Kimberley on Sunday and Monday before contracting eastwards on Tuesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure is developing over the south of the State and will drift over the south coast over the weekend. This ridge will bring clear skies and cold mornings through southern inland parts for the next couple of days. A high will move into the Bight on Monday before a trough develops near the west coast on Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 20 September
Showers about southern parts of the South West Land Division and near the Eucla coast with possible small hail about coastal parts east Esperance.

Forecast for Saturday 21 September
Areas of morning frost through central and southern inland parts of the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields and the South Interior. Showers about southern parts of the South West Land Division and near the Eucla coast.

Forecast for Sunday 22 September
Showers near the southern and Eucla coasts, clearing during the day. Rain areas developing in the northeastern Interior. Isolated areas of morning frost through central and southern inland parts of the South West Land Division and the adjacent southwest Goldfields.

Forecast for Monday 23 September
Rain areas over the northern Interior and adjacent Kimberley, with thunderstorms possible.

Forecast for Tuesday 24 September
Rain areas over the northeast Interior and adjacent Kimberley clearing during the day. Showers developing over the Southwest District during the afternoon.
