Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A surface trough lies over the western Pilbara. A strong high pressure system over southeastern Australia is directing an easterly flow over remaining northern parts.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A deep trough near the west coast will move gradually east on Tuesday and Wednesday. A couple of weak cold fronts will brush southwestern parts on Wednesday and Thursday, but will fail to penetrate any further inland.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 9 September
Mostly clear across the State.

Forecast for Tuesday 10 September
Mostly sunny across the State, with maximum temperatures well above average through central and southeastern parts. Fresh and gusty easterly winds over northern parts.

Forecast for Wednesday 11 September
Showers southwest of a line from Mandurah to Albany. Fresh and gusty easterly winds over northern parts.

Forecast for Thursday 12 September
Showers southwest of a line from Mandurah to Bremer Bay. Fresh and gusty easterly winds over northern parts.

Forecast for Friday 13 September
Showers possible about the SW Capes. Fresh and gusty easterly winds over northern parts.
