Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the west Kimberley into the central Pilbara and will remain generally stationary for the next few days. A high pressure ridge will remain over most of southern WA over the weekend.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies over southern parts of WA. A high pressure cell will form in the Bight and broad trough will develop near the west coast on Sunday before moving inland later on Monday.

Light showers about the South Coastal district.
Forecast for Sunday 8 September
Early morning fog over coastal parts of the Pilbara and Kimberley. Morning drizzle between Albany and Ravensthorpe and adjacent inland areas. Showers and the chance of a thunderstorm over the South Interior and adjacent northern Goldfields and northeast Gascoyne.
Forecast for Monday 9 September
Mostly sunny across the State with daytime temperatures well above average through western and central parts. Early fog over coastal parts of the Pilbara and Kimberley.
Forecast for Tuesday 10 September
Mostly sunny across the State with daytime temperatures well above average through central and southeastern parts.
Forecast for Wednesday 11 September
Showers southwest of a line Perth to Albany.
