Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure system lies south of the continent, producing a generally easterly flow across the north. A trough over the western Pilbara from Sunday afternoon as the high pressure system moves east. The trough will move east on Tuesday, as a cloud band starts to develop over the western Pilbara.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system lies south of the State, and will move east through the Bight on Monday. A trough develops off the west coast on Monday, moving east over the South West Land Division on Tuesday as a cold front moves over southwestern parts. The cold front will interact with a cloud band on Wednesday to produce rainfall over a large part of the State, although falls may be patchy over agricultural areas.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 10 August
Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division east of Walpole and near the Eucla coast.

Forecast for Sunday 11 August
Showers about the south coast east of Albany and over the Eucla.

Forecast for Monday 12 August
Showers near the Eucla coast east of Eyre.

Forecast for Tuesday 13 August
Showers over areas southwest of a line from Kalbarri to Hopetoun. Thunderstorms possible over areas southwest of Mandurah to Bremer Bay in the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Wednesday 14 August
Showers over areas southwest of a line from Karratha to Eucla. Thunderstorms possible over the Central West and adjacent Lower West.
