Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough extends from the west Kimberley into the east Pilbara and Interior. By late Monday the trough will be lingering near the Pilbara and Kimberley coastlines.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A broad surface trough lies inland from the west coast and will move further inland on Sunday. The trough will weaken on Monday and then a ridge of high pressure will build over the south of the State during the working week.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 27 July
Showers and the chance of a thunderstorms over central and southern parts of the South West Land Division, southeast Gascoyne and the Goldfields. Light patchy rain about the west Gascoyne, Eucla and South Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 28 July
Showers along the mid west coast and south coast with areas of morning drizzle about the western south coast. Showers over the central and southern inland parts of the South West Land Division, the Goldfields and Eucla clearing during the day. Possible thunderstorms over the Goldfields and the adjacent districts, clearing during the day. Patchy rain developing over the South Interior and Eucla.

Forecast for Monday 29 July
Showers about the south coast and Eucla. Possible showers about the southern Goldfields, eastern Central Wheat Belt, and the eastern parts of the Great Southern.

Forecast for Tuesday 30 July
Showers about the south coast and Eucla Coast.

Forecast for Wednesday 31 July
Showers near the Eucla coast.
