Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough will move through the Kimberley as a new high pressure ridge develops over central parts of the State, persisting into early next week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure will build over central parts of the State with a weak cold front expected to brush the south coast on Sunday, gradually moving up towards Perth by Sunday evening before dissipating. The high pressure ridge will move over southern WA on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 20 July
Showers southwest of Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay most likely in coastal parts between Perth and Albany. Possible showers about Israelite Bay and the Eucla coast.

Forecast for Sunday 21 July
Showers over the South West Land Division, most likely near the west and south coasts.

Forecast for Monday 22 July
Showers over the South West Land Division and adjacent Goldfields and Gascoyne, contracting to the south coast by evening.

Forecast for Tuesday 23 July
Areas of morning frost over the Central Wheat Belt, Great Southern and adjacent Goldfields. Showers over southern coastal districts and adjacent parts of the Lower West and Great Southern. Light, patchy rain also developing about the western Pilbara.

Forecast for Wednesday 24 July
Areas of morning frost over the Central Wheat Belt, Great Southern and southern Goldfields. Light, patchy rain over the far western Pilbara. Showers over the South West District, extending into adjacent parts of the Lower West, Great Southern and South Coastal districts during the day.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Sunday.
