Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough along the Pilbara and Kimberley coasts will weaken early Wednesday morning. A ridge of high pressure is developing over central parts of the State and will extend eastwards over the coming days maintaining a general east to southeasterly flow over the region through to the weekend.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak cold front will contract into the Bight Tuesday evening as a high pressure ridge develops through central parts of WA. The ridge will strengthen and gradually migrate south over the coming days with a high pressure cell developing in the Bight on Saturday.
Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 9 July
Showers over southern and western parts of the South West Land Division.
Forecast for Wednesday 10 July
Showers about the south coast. Showers also near the west coast between Perth and Jurien Bay clearing by early afternoon.
Forecast for Thursday 11 July
Showers about the south coast extending to adjacent inland parts of the Great Southern and South West districts for a period during the day.
Forecast for Friday 12 July
Showers about southern coastal districts easing later in the day.
Forecast for Saturday 13 July
Early morning showers about the south coast between Windy Harbour and Hopetoun.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Wednesday.
