Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies across central parts of the State with a general east to southeasterly flow over northern districts. A trough will develop over the western Pilbara during Thursday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge lies across central parts of the State. A weak cold front is moving south of the state. A high pressure ridge will then gradually migrate south of WA early next week and strengthen on Tuesday, contracting eastwards on Wednesday ahead of a strong cold front expected to move through the west of the state during Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 30 June
Showers southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to Hopetoun.

Forecast for Monday 1 July
Showers over southern and western parts of the South West Land Division, extending to inland parts for a period during the day.

Forecast for Tuesday 2 July
Showers over southern and western coastal parts of the South West Land Division, extending to inland parts of the Division, southern Goldfields and Eucla for a period during the day.

Forecast for Wednesday 3 July
Showers about the South West Capes and the Eucla.

Forecast for Thursday 4 July
A rain band with isolated thunderstorms extending through the South West Land Division, Gascoyne and west Pilbara during the day, reaching the western Goldfields in the afternoon. Moderate to heavy falls and strong squally winds about western districts. Rain band easing to showers in the evening. Thunderstorms developing about the South West Capes in the evening.
