Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies across northern parts of the State. A weak trough over the Pilbara will move eastwards and into the Kimberley on Friday. A high pressure system develops over the south of the State on the weekend, pushing another fresh east to southeasterly flow over northern parts.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold unstable air mass will move over the south of the State early Friday, in its wake a weak ridge of high pressure will develop through central parts of the State and persist over the weekend. A weak cold front will brush the south coast on Sunday morning.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 27 June
Showers through the South West Land Division, with thunderstorms and small hail possible southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Hopetoun. Showers over the Gascoyne, far western Pilbara, Goldfields, southwest Interior and Eucla, easing.

Forecast for Friday 28 June
Showers, thunderstorms and small hail near the south coast, and along the west coast south of Jurien Bay in the morning. Showers possible over the southern Gascoyne, northern South West Land Division and northern Goldfields in the morning. Showers over the South Interior and the Eucla, with small hail possible near the Eucla coast later in the day.

Forecast for Saturday 29 June
Widespread morning frost over the inland parts of southern WA. Showers southwest of a line from Lancelin to Albany. Showers possible along the southern and Eucla coasts east of Esperance in the morning.

Forecast for Sunday 30 June
Widespread morning frost over the South Interior, Goldfields, adjacent Gascoyne and northeast parts of the South West Land Division. Showers southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to Hopetoun.

Forecast for Monday 1 July
Showers over southern and western parts of the South West Land Division.
