Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies through the west Kimberley and inland Pilbara. A ridge of high pressure will extend off the Pilbara coast late Thursday ahead of a rain band and trough that will move through western parts of the Gascoyne and Pilbara on Sunday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge near the south coast will move slowly east over the coming days. A rain band and cold front will approach the west coast on Friday evening and move across State during the weekend. A second cold front will cross the southwest corner of the State on Sunday afternoon.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 19 June
Showers and thunderstorms about eastern parts of the North Interior.

Forecast for Thursday 20 June
Widespread areas of morning frost through the southern inland South West Land Division, southern Goldfields, Eucla and southeast Interior. Showers developing over the Pilbara.

Forecast for Friday 21 June
Showers and possible thunderstorms about the Pilbara, northern and eastern Gascoyne and Goldfields. Showers also developing near the west coast south of Jurien Bay in the evening.

Forecast for Saturday 22 June
Rain and thunderstorms extending throughout western parts of the Gascoyne and South West Land Division, extending through eastern parts of the South West Land Division in the late evening. Showers and possible thunderstorms about the west Pilbara, northern and eastern Gascoyne and Goldfields easing during the day.

Forecast for Sunday 23 June
Rain and thunderstorms extending through northern and eastern parts of the South West Land Division, Gascoyne, Goldfields, western Pilbara and western Eucla. Showers over remaining parts of the South West Land Division with isolated thunderstorms southwest of a line Perth to Albany in the afternoon and evening.
