Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies over central parts of the state, directing southeasterly winds through the Pilbara and southern Kimberley. A trough will lie over the northern Kimberley for the next few days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge lies over the Central West coast, where it will remain for the next few days. A cool west to southwesterly flow with weak cold fronts on Friday evening and Sunday evening will continue mostly coastal showers with periods of light shower activity extending to adjacent inland parts over the southwest of the State.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 13 June
Showers southwest of a line Geraldton to Esperance, mainly about coastal parts in the morning and evening. Light falls inland.

Forecast for Friday 14 June
Showers through mainly western and southern parts of the South West Land Division. Light falls inland. Thunderstorms possible about the western south coast during the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Saturday 15 June
Showers over southern and western parts of the South West Land Division. Thunderstorms possible near the south coast east of Albany. Showers possible near the western Eucla coast.

Forecast for Sunday 16 June
Showers southwest of a line Dongara to Hopetoun to Esperance and along the Eucla coast. Light falls inland.

Forecast for Monday 17 June
Showers about the southwest Capes, near the south coast and Eucla coast.
