Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure ridge to the south will direct a moderate southeasterly flow across the north during Wednesday. A high pressure system will then develop in the Bight from Thursday, resulting in a strengthening of the east southeasterly flow over the north.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure will lie near the south coast for Wednesday. A high pressure system will develop in the Bight from Thursday. A cold front will reach the southwest corner of the State early on Friday morning, but will fail to penetrate too far inland due to the strength of the high in the Bight. The ridge will redevelop to the south of the State on Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 28 May
Showers possible near the south coast east of Albany. Showers or thunderstorm possible over the Gascoyne.

Forecast for Wednesday 29 May
Showers possible near the south coast east of Albany. Isolated areas of morning frost over southern inland parts. Showers or thunderstorm possible over the South Interior.

Forecast for Thursday 30 May
Showers developing about the SW Capes in the evening.

Forecast for Friday 31 May
Showers and possible thunderstorms southwest of a line from Mandurah to Albany, easing during the afternoon. Showers also possible over remaining areas southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to Esperance, although with generally light falls.

Forecast for Saturday 1 June
Light early showers in the South Coastal and the adjacent parts.
