Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad surface trough will lie near the Pilbara and Kimberley coasts, and extend to North Interior. The trough will push off of the Pilbara coast for periods during the next few mornings.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A deep low pressure system lies in the Bight with a front moving over the Eucla coast this evening. A ridge extends over the south of the State in the wake of the front and will strengthen on Wednesday and Thursday. A trough will develop west of the State on Friday and move inland on Saturday as a cold front crosses the southwest during the morning.
Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 30 April
Possible showers over the Kimberley this afternoon. Showers about southern coastal districts with possible thunderstorms near the Eucla coast. Showers and thunderstorms possible in the North Interior.
Forecast for Wednesday 1 May
Showers over southern coastal districts easing west of Esperance in the afternoon and evening. Small hail and thunderstorms possible near the Eucla coast and the adjacent South East coastal district, most likely during the morning. Morning showers through the Great Southern and southern Goldfields. Showers and thunderstorms over northern and eastern parts of the Kimberley.

Showers along the south coast east of Bremer Bay. Showers and thunderstorms over the northern and eastern Kimberley.
Forecast for Friday 3 May
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern Kimberley. Morning showers possible for the eastern Eucla coast.
Forecast for Saturday 4 May
Showers developing over southern and western parts the South West Land Division with possible thunderstorms southwest of Busselton to Walpole, most likely during the morning. Showers and thunderstorms over the northern Kimberley.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Wednesday.
