Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad surface trough will lie near the Pilbara and Kimberley coasts.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough inland from the west coast will move east ahead of a weak cold front that will move through the southern parts of the State during Monday and Tuesday. A new ridge will build over the south of the State in the wake of the front during Tuesday and Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 28 April
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley.

Forecast for Monday 29 April
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley, most likely during the afternoon. Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Tuesday 30 April
Possible showers over the Kimberley, most likely during the afternoon. Showers about southern coastal districts with possible morning thunderstorms through the Eucla and adjacent South Interior and Goldfields.

Forecast for Wednesday 1 May
Showers over southern coastal districts easing west of Esperance in the afternoon and evening. Morning showers through the Great Southern and southern Goldfields. Showers and thunderstorms in the northern parts of the Kimberley.

Forecast for Thursday 2 May
Showers along the south coast east of Bremer Bay. Showers and thunderstorms in the Kimberley and the adjacent North Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Monday.
