Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A moderate to fresh east to southeasterly flow will push a surface trough offshore from the Pilbara coast for the next few mornings. A tropical low is developing north of the Top End of the Northern Territory and is forecast to move west to southwest to be north of the Kimberley later Friday and on Saturday.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough is moving across the eastern Goldfields and Eucla ahead of a weak cold front brushing the southwest of the State. A new ridge will develop near the south coast on Friday with a high in the Bight on Saturday. A weak trough will develop near the west coast on Sunday with a high pressure ridge remaining south of the State through to Tuesday.
Forecast for the rest of Thursday 4 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the southeast Goldfields and the western Eucla, contracting east to the Eucla district during the evening. Showers over southern coastal parts of the South West Land Division. A tropical low well to the north northeast of Kalumburu may develop over the next few days into a Tropical Cyclone as it moves to the west southwest.

Showers and thunderstorms over the northern Kimberley. Showers along the south coast, mainly morning.
Forecast for Saturday 6 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the central and northern Kimberley. Showers about the south coast west of Albany.
Forecast for Sunday 7 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley. Showers about the south coast between Augusta and Israelite Bay.
Forecast for Monday 8 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley and along the Pilbara coast. Showers about the south coast between Augusta and Israelite Bay.
