Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A fresh east to southeasterly flow will push a surface trough offshore from the Pilbara coast for the next few mornings.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system in the Bight extends a strong ridge over the south of the State with a broad trough extending down the west coast. The surface trough will move inland across the South West Land Division Monday, and move further east during Tuesday. A ridge of high pressure will develop south of the State on Tuesday and stays well south on Wednesday as a broad trough lingers near the west coast. A strong cold front moves over the South West Land Division during Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 31 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Lower West, South West, western Great Southern, and the far west Central Wheat Belt. Showers and thunderstorms over the western Gascoyne and Central West district.

Forecast for Monday 1 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the South West Land Division and western Gascoyne.

Forecast for Tuesday 2 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the South West Land Division, south and western Gascoyne and southwest Goldfields.

Forecast for Wednesday 3 April
Showers and thunderstorms over South West Land Division, southern Goldfields and western Eucla. Showers the western south coast, with early morning thunderstorms.

Forecast for Thursday 4 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the eastern South West Land Division contracting eastwards during the morning. Showers and thunderstorms over southwest Goldfields and Eucla. Showers developing southwest of Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay in the morning and southwest of Jurien Bay to Merredin to Esperance during the afternoon and evening.
