Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies near the coastal parts of the Pilbara and extends into the central parts of the Kimberley. The trough moves offshore of the Pilbara coast in the mornings with gusty easterly winds pushing offshore.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A broad trough lies near the west coast with a very weak cold front approaching the southwest corner later Saturday. The trough remains stationary over the western parts of the State and deepens over the weekend and into Monday, before moving eastwards on Tuesday.

Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, Gascoyne, northern Goldfields, inland Central West, and the far northern Central Wheat Belt.

Forecast for Friday 15 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, inland Gascoyne, Goldfields, central and eastern parts of South West Land Division.

Forecast for Saturday 16 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, northern Gascoyne, Goldfields, and eastern parts of the SW Land Division. Showers near the western south coast.

Forecast for Sunday 17 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, central and north Interior, inland Gascoyne, southwest Goldfields, central and eastern parts of the SW Land Division. Showers near the western south coast.

Forecast for Monday 18 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, central and north Interior, inland Gascoyne, western Goldfields, central and western parts of the SW Land Division.
