Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A surface trough extends through the North Interior and the inland Pilbara.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A broad surface trough inland from the west coast will continue to move east on Wednesday, and a weak cold front will brush the western south coast. A new trough will then start to develop near the west coast late Thursday. The surface trough will deepen and move inland on Friday. A weak cold front will reach the western south coast on Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 12 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, inland Gascoyne and western Goldfields, extending through the eastern South West Land Division during the evening. Showers possibly near the western south coast.

Forecast for Wednesday 13 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields and the Eucla. Morning showers and thunderstorms over southeastern parts of the South West Land Division. Showers near the southern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Thursday 14 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, Gascoyne, northern and eastern Goldfields and the Eucla. Showers near the south coast and adjacent inland parts. Showers near the southern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 15 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, inland Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla, and eastern parts of South West Land Division.

Forecast for Saturday 16 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, northeast Gascoyne, northern and eastern Goldfields. Showers near the western south coast.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Wednesday.
