Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A surface trough extends from the inland Kimberley to the inland Pilbara and will remain fairly stationary for the next few days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong high pressure ridge is developing south of the State with a high moving east through the Bight during Wednesday. as a trough develops near the west coast. The trough will move inland during Thursday as a new ridge of high pressure develops well south of the State. A cloud band will move over western and southern parts of the South West Land Division from Wednesday to Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 5 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley. Rain and the chance of thunderstorms over the western Pilbara, Gascoyne and northern Central West district. Showers near the Eucla coast.

Forecast for Wednesday 6 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley. Rain and the chance of thunderstorms over the southwest Gascoyne, gradually extending through western and southern parts of the South West Land Division. Patchy mainly light rainfall anticipated.

Forecast for Thursday 7 March
Rain over mainly western and southern parts of the South West Land Division and adjacent Goldfields,with the chance of thunderstorms over northern parts. Showers and thunderstorms over coastal parts of the north and west Kimberley.

Forecast for Friday 8 March
Rain over mainly western and southern parts of the South West Land Division and adjacent Goldfields. Patchy, mainly light falls anticipated. Showers and thunderstorms over coastal parts of the north and west Kimberley.

Forecast for Saturday 9 March
Rain over mainly western and southern parts of the South West Land Division and adjacent southern Goldfields. Patchy, mainly light falls anticipated. Showers and thunderstorms over the coastal north and west Kimberley.
