Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A surface trough extends from the inland Kimberley to the Pilbara and will remain fairly stationary for the next few days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A surface trough extends from the Pilbara through central parts of the South West Land Division. The trough will slowly move east through the Goldfields and Eucla during Wednesday and Thursday. A weak cold front will move along the south coast during Friday with a new ridge of high pressure developing in its wake.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 26 February
Shower and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland eastern Pilbara and northern Interior.

Forecast for Wednesday 27 February
Shower and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, northern and far western Interior and northeast Gascoyne. Possible drizzle near the south coast between Albany and Bremer Bay extending eastwards during the evening. Possible morning thunderstorms in the Southeast Coastal district. Very hot over central and western parts of the State.

Forecast for Thursday 28 February
Shower and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and inland Pilbara, northern and western Interior, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, western Eucla, eastern Central Wheat Belt and eastern parts of the Southeast Coastal districts. Drizzle or showers near the south coast. Very hot over central and southeastern parts of the State.

Forecast for Friday 1 March
Shower and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and inland Pilbara, Interior, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla, eastern Great Southern and eastern parts of the Southeast Coastal districts. Showers developing about remaining southern coastal parts and the coastal Lower West. Very hot over northwest and southeastern parts of the State.

Forecast for Saturday 2 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior and northeastern Gascoyne. Possible light showers near the southwest coast.
