Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A surface trough extends from the inland Pilbara through the north Interior. The western portion of the trough will move south into the Gascoyne from Monday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A deep trough over the far east of the State will move into South Australia during Sunday. A high pressure system will develop south of the State during Sunday and Monday, and a new trough will develop down the west coast. The trough will move inland during Tuesday and Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 16 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, and parts of the Pilbara just inland from the coast. Light showers possible near the south coast.

Forecast for Sunday 17 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara and far northwest Interior. Light showers possible near the south coast and Eucla coast. Very hot over northern parts of the State.

Forecast for Monday 18 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne, and western Interior. Very hot over northern parts of the State.

Forecast for Tuesday 19 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern inland Pilbara, far northeast Gascoyne, Interior, Goldfields, eastern parts of the South West Land Division and the western Eucla. Very hot over northern parts of the State.

Forecast for Wednesday 20 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, far northeast Gascoyne, Interior, Goldfields, Eucla and central and eastern parts of the South West Land Division. Very hot over northern parts of the State.
