Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A surface trough extends through the inland Pilbara and into the North Interior, and will deepen near the west coast through to Thursday.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A surface trough near the west coast will deepen and move east overnight and during Thursday into the Goldfields, and then into the Eucla on Friday with a new ridge of high pressure developing south of the State during Saturday and Sunday.
Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 13 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, inland Gascoyne and far northwest Interior. Showers and possible thunderstorms developing over northern and western parts of the Southwest Land Division during the evening.
Forecast for Thursday 14 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, eastern Gascoyne, central and eastern South West Land Division, Goldfields and far western parts of the Interior. Very hot over northern parts of the State.
Forecast for Friday 15 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne, eastern South West Land Division, Goldfields, western parts of the Interior and Eucla. Light showers possible near the western south coast. Very hot over northern parts of the State.
Forecast for Saturday 16 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and inland Pilbara. Light showers possible near the south coat. Very hot over northern parts of the State.
Forecast for Sunday 17 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and inland Pilbara. Light showers possible near the south coast and Eucla coast.
