Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A surface trough extends from the west Gascoyne into the Pilbara and Kimberley. A trough from the south will move north through the inland Gascoyne, Pilbara and Interior during Monday and Tuesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies to the south of the State. A surface trough lies near the west coast and will move eastwards during Sunday and Monday as a weak cold front brushes the south coast on Monday . A new ridge will develop over southern WA in the wake of the front and trough on Tuesday before a another trough develops down the west coast on Wednesday.

Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, west inland Pilbara, west inland Gascoyne and northern inland Central West districts

Forecast for Sunday 10 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, western Pilbara and Gascoyne. Possible morning shower or storm over South West and western Great Southern. Very hot over the Central West, Lower West and inland Gascoyne districts.

Forecast for Monday 11 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, and northeast Gascoyne. Light showers possible near the south coast and adjacent inland parts. Very hot through the inland Gascoyne and northern Eucla.

Forecast for Tuesday 12 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara and North Interior. Light showers possible near the south coast east of Albany. Very hot over northern parts of the State.

Forecast for Wednesday 13 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and inland Pilbara. Very hot over northern parts of the State.
