Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A surface trough extends from the Gascoyne into the Pilbara and North Interior and will remain fairly stationary for the next couple of days until Saturday when it will move northward.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure is strengthening to the south of the State. A trough is developing down the west coast and will continue to deepen over the next few days, directing easterly winds over the South West Land Division, fresh and gusty at times during Thursday and Friday. The trough will move inland during Sunday.
Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 6 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, eastern Pilbara, southern and eastern Gascoyne, north and west Goldfields and northern and central inland parts of the South West Land Division. Thunderstorms possibly severe over the Central Wheat Belt, western Goldfields and adjacent parts of the Central West and Lower West, with damaging winds, large hail and heavy rainfall possible.

Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, inland Gascoyne, Goldfields and the South West Land Division. Very hot over northeastern parts of the State, and the Central West district.

Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, inland Gascoyne, Goldfields and northern and central parts of the South West Land Division. Very hot over northeastern parts of the State, and the Central West district.
Forecast for Saturday 9 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern Interior, Gascoyne and Central West. Very hot over northeastern parts of the State, and the Central West and Lower West districts.
Forecast for Sunday 10 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, Central West and adjacent Central Wheat Belt. Very hot over northeastern parts of the State, and the Central West and Lower West districts.
