Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends through eastern and northern parts of the State, redeveloping near the Kimberley and Pilbara coast over the weekend, before moving southeastwards early next week.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak ridge lies over southern parts of the state, with a surface trough developing inland from the west coast during the weekend and Monday, before contracting eastwards on Tuesday ahead of a weak cold front, expected to reach the far southwest of the state Tuesday afternoon.

Showers and thunderstorms over the Interior, eastern Pilbara and near coastal parts of the Kimberley.
Forecast for Saturday 8 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern and eastern Kimberley, Interior, eastern Pilbara, eastern Gascoyne and northern Goldfields.
Forecast for Sunday 9 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, Interior, Goldfields, eastern Gascoyne, Eucla and eastern parts of the Central Wheat Belt.
Forecast for Monday 10 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, Interior, Goldfields, eastern Gascoyne, Eucla, central and eastern parts of the South West Land Division.
Forecast for Tuesday 11 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, Interior, Goldfields, southeast Gascoyne, Eucla and eastern parts of the South West Land Division. Showers about southern coastal parts west of Albany developing in the afternoon.
