Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the west Pilbara through central parts of the State towards South Australia, resulting in a generally northwesterly flow over northern parts. By Sunday this trough will extend from the Kimberley to the Gascoyne and an extension of the trough will move down the west coast of the State.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure is situated near the south coast and a trough lies over central and eastern parts of the State. The trough will gradually shift northwards and by Sunday will extend from the Kimberley to the Gascoyne, with an extension developing down the west coast which will deepen during Monday. A weak cold front will brush the western south coast during Saturday.

Evening showers possible about the western south coast.
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior and far eastern parts of the Eucla.

Forecast for Saturday 1 December
Morning showers and thunderstorms possible over far eastern parts of the Eucla. Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division. Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 2 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and Interior, extending into the northern Goldfields and southeast Gascoyne during the day.

Forecast for Monday 3 December
Morning showers and thunderstorms over the Eucla and northern parts of the South East Coastal districts.
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, Goldfields and far southeastern Gascoyne.
Possible evening showers and thunderstorms over the northeastern South West Land Division.

Forecast for Tuesday 4 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, southern Goldfields, eastern South West Land Division and Eucla.
Light showers over coastal parts parts of from Cape Naturaliste to Albany.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Saturday.
