Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the Pilbara to the North Interior with a high pressure ridge developing over the south of the State this evening. The trough will move well inland from the Pilbara coast later on Tuesday into Wednesday and lie through central parts of the State from Wednesday evening.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure is developing over the southern parts of the state and moves south of the State on Tuesday as a high develops in the Bight. A broad trough will develop inland from the west coast by Wednesday morning and contract eastwards during the day. The trough moves further east into the Goldfields district on Thursday as a weak front brushes the far southwest parts of the SWLD. A weak ridge develops south of the state on Friday as the trough moves east into the Eucla and central parts of the state.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 26 November
Showers about the Eucla coast and adjacent inland areas east of Eyre. Showers and thunderstorms over the northeast Kimberley.

Forecast for Tuesday 27 November
Morning showers over the eastern Eucla.
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and east Kimberley.

Forecast for Wednesday 28 November
Morning showers about the southwest coast between Cape Leeuwin and Walpole. Showers and thunderstorms over the north Kimberley.

Forecast for Thursday 29 November
Showers over the South West, South Coastal, South East Coastal and southern parts of the Great Southern.
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and east Kimberley, eastern Interior and far northeast South Interior.

Forecast for Friday 30 November
Showers about the south coast and adjacent inland areas and the southern parts of the Great Southern.
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, South Interior, eastern North Interior and the northeastern parts of the Goldfields, Gascoyne and Eucla.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Tuesday.
