Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough of low pressure stretches from a low over the Gascoyne, across the inland Pilbara and North Interior. The trough will move southeastwards during Friday before redeveloping across the eastern Pilbara, eastern Gascoyne and North Interior on the Saturday, contracting southeast during Sunday and Monday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A low pressure system over the Gascoyne will deepen as it moves southwards and then southeastwards during Friday, producing windy conditions across a large part of WA before moving off the Eucla coast late Friday. A cold front will reach the southwest corner of the State early Sunday then move eastwards and weaken during the day. A weak ridge of high pressure develops in the wake of the front.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 22 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the north Kimberley and northeast Interior. Showers and thunderstorms south of a line from Perth to Leinster to the Laverton, tending to areas of rain about the South Coastal district and southern Great Southern.
Windy across the Gascoyne, Pilbara, Goldfields and the northern half of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 23 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, far eastern Interior, Eucla and eastern parts of the Southwest Land Division, contracting eastwards. Showers through the remainder of the South West Land Division, tending to areas of rain about the South Coastal district and adjacent parts, easing and contracting to southern coastal districts in the evening.
Windy across much of central and southern WA.

Forecast for Saturday 24 November
Showers about southern coastal districts, clearing early afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley.

Forecast for Sunday 25 November
Showers across the area southwest of a line from Geraldton to Hyden to Israelite Bay. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms about the eastern Southeast coastal district and west Eucla.
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley.

Forecast for Monday 26 November
Showers about western and southern coastal parts of the South West Land Division and Eucla, contracting to southern coastal parts by evening. Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley.
