Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad low pressure trough extends from the inland Pilbara through to the central Kimberley and will extend into the Interior on Thursday. The trough will move off of the Pilbara coast for a period on Friday before contracting to the eastern Pilbara over the weekend.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge lies southeast of the State and is contracting east. A developing trough near the west coast will deepen further on Thursday as it moves inland. Another deep trough will redevelop near the west coast on Friday before the northern segment moves to the inland Gascoyne later in the day. The southern part of the trough will move eastwards during Saturday ahead of a weak cold front expected to cross the southwest on Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 14 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern Kimberley, with a chance of an afternoon shower or thunderstorm over the inland Pilbara, northern Gascoyne and adjacent Interior.

Forecast for Thursday 15 November
Showers and thunderstorms in the northern and eastern Kimberley and the adjacent North Interior. A chance of showers or thunderstorms through the inland Pilbara, Gascoyne, western Goldfields, central and eastern parts of the South West Land Division and the far western Interior.

Forecast for Friday 16 November
Showers and thunderstorms in the northern and eastern Kimberley and the northern and central Interior. A chance of showers or thunderstorms through the inland Pilbara, eastern Gascoyne, western Goldfields and central and eastern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Saturday 17 November
Showers and thunderstorms through the Kimberley and adjacent North Interior. A chance of showers or thunderstorms through the eastern Pilbara, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, South Interior, Eucla and southern and eastern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Sunday 18 November
Showers and thunderstorms through the Kimberley. A chance of showers or thunderstorms through the eastern Pilbara, Interior, eastern Goldfields, Eucla and the Southeast Coastal district. Showers developing along the south coast and adjacent parts west of Hopetoun during the day.
