Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad low pressure trough extends from the central Kimberley through to the North Interior and is contracting east tonight. Another trough will develop and extend from the inland Kimberley towards the Pilbara from Monday and remain near stationary during the week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A deep surface trough is situated through central WA and is gradually moving east today to reach the South Australian Border on Monday. A ridge of high pressure will build over the south of the State it its wake. A weak cold front will brush the western south coast on Monday with a high pressure ridge developing south of the State on Tuesday. On Wednesday a trough will begin to develop near the west coast and deepen further on Thursday as it moves inland from the west coast.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 11 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, far eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, central and southern Interior, Eucla and eastern parts of the South West Land Division. Squally winds, large hail and heavy falls possible with thunderstorms over the Goldfields, Eucla and adjacent parts. Showers near the remaining western south coast.

Forecast for Monday 12 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the South Interior, Eucla, northern and eastern parts of the Goldfields, far eastern Gascoyne and the northern Kimberley. Gusty winds and heavy falls possible through the South Interior. Showers near the the south coast, southwest Capes and adjacent inland parts.

Forecast for Tuesday 13 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern and central Kimberley and the northern Interior. Showers about the south coast and adjacent inland parts west of Israelite Bay. Morning showers in the far eastern Eucla.

Forecast for Wednesday 14 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the northeast Kimberley. Light morning showers possible near the south coast and Eucla coast and adjacent inland parts.

Forecast for Thursday 15 November
Showers and thunderstorms in the northern and eastern Kimberley and the adjacent North Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Monday.
