Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A low pressure trough extends from the West Kimberley through to the central Pilbara. The trough will deepen and move gradually east over the coming days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies south of the State. A surface trough will deepen near the west coast on Friday and move eastwards over the weekend. A weak cold front will reach the southwest corner of the State on Monday evening.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 8 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara and far northeast Gascoyne.

Forecast for Friday 9 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, inland Pilbara, Gascoyne, north and west Goldfields, western Interior and northern parts of the South West Land Division. Thunderstorms also developing near the south coast between Albany and Esperance in the late evening.

Forecast for Saturday 10 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, inland Pilbara, Gascoyne, Goldfields, western Interior, Eucla and most parts of the South West Land Division away from the southwest corner. Gusty winds, hail and heavy falls possible with thunderstorms over the inland Gascoyne, the Goldfields and adjacent parts.

Forecast for Sunday 11 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, inland Pilbara, Gascoyne, Goldfields, Interior, Eucla and central and eastern parts of the South West Land Division. Gusty winds and heavy falls possible with thunderstorms over the Goldfields and Eucla and adjacent parts. Light showers possible along the west coast between Shark Bay and Perth.

Forecast for Monday 12 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, South Interior, Eucla and northern and eastern parts of the Goldfields. Showers southwest of a line from Mandurah to Bremer Bay.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Friday.
