Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A low pressure trough extends from the West Kimberley through to the central Pilbara. A ridge of high pressure over southern parts of the State is directing a surge of easterly winds over northern parts on Thursday morning. The trough will deepen down the west coast on Friday and spread eastwards during Saturday and Sunday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies across the south of the State. A surface trough will deepen down the west coast on Friday and spread eastwards during Saturday and Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 7 November
Afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms over the northern and eastern Kimberley. Gusty east to southeasterly winds over the North Interior, Pilbara and southern parts of the Kimberley during this evening.

Forecast for Thursday 8 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, far east Pilbara and far northern Gascoyne. Gusty easterly winds over the North Interior, Pilbara and southern parts of the Kimberley early morning.

Forecast for Friday 9 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, north and west Goldfields and western Interior and most parts of the South West Land Division away from the west coast.

Forecast for Saturday 10 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the west Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, Goldfields, western Interior, Eucla and most parts of the South West Land Division away from the west coast.

Forecast for Sunday 11 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the west Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, Goldfields, western Interior, Eucla and most parts of the South West Land Division away from the west and south coast. Isolated showers about the west and south coast of the South West Land Division and coastal Gascoyne.
