Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough of low pressure will remain over inland parts of the Pilbara and Kimberley for at least the next four days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies to the south of WA with a surface trough developing down the west coast. The trough will move east on Monday ahead of a weak cold front that will reach the western south coast late Monday afternoon. From Tuesday a ridge of high pressure will lie to the south of the State while a trough develops over the southeast of WA.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 28 October
Showers and thunderstorm over the far eastern Interior. Isolated showers over the southern Interior and Eucla clearing by evening.

Forecast for Monday 29 October
Showers and thunderstorm near the eastern border of WA and in the north Kimberley. Showers near the western south coast, extending to southern coastal parts west of Israelite Bay by evening.

Forecast for Tuesday 30 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern Interior, far east Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, Goldfields and western Eucla.
Light showers over the South East Coastal district and adjacent parts of neighbouring districts.

Forecast for Wednesday 31 October
Showers and thunderstorms possible in the Goldfields, Eucla, Kimberley and Interior and eastern parts of the Southwest Land Division. Areas of rain over the South East Coastal district and adjacent Eucla.

Forecast for Thursday 1 November
Showers and thunderstorms over eastern parts of the state. Areas of rain over the South East Coastal district and adjacent Eucla. Isolated showers about remaining south coastal parts of the South West Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Monday.
