Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A low pressure system in the inland Gascoyne is extending a trough the Interior and into the Kimberley. The low pressure system will persist through central parts of the State on Friday, before moving eastwards during Saturday. A broad trough will lie over the inland Pilbara, inland Kimberley and the North Interior Sunday and Monday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies to the south of WA and a low pressure system over the inland will meander around the Interior of the State until the weekend. A surface trough will begin to develop near west coast on Sunday, and move inland on Monday. A weak cold front will reach the western south coast Monday evening.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 25 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Goldfields, Interior, Eucla and inland Gascoyne as well as across the north and east Kimberley.

Forecast for Friday 26 October
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the eastern Kimberley, southeast Pilbara, Interior, Eucla, Goldfields and far eastern parts of the Gascoyne. Gusty winds, heavy falls and possible hail in the Interior and the far east of the Goldfields in the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Saturday 27 October
Showers and thunderstorms about eastern parts of the state. Isolated showers about southern coastal parts east of Albany.

Forecast for Sunday 28 October
Showers and thunderstorm in the southeast parts of the State, and the Kimberley. Isolated morning showers along southern coastal parts.

Forecast for Monday 29 October
Showers and thunderstorm in the southeast parts of the State. Isolated showers near the western south coast in the evening.
