Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A low pressure system in the Goldfields is extending a trough the Interior and into the Kimberley. The low pressure system will persist through central parts of the State on Thursday and Friday, before moving eastwards during Saturday.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A low pressure system over central WA will meander around the interior of the State until the weekend. A surface trough will begin to develop down the west coast on Saturday.
Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 24 October
Showers in near the SW Capes, easing during the evening. Possible showers and thunderstorms about the coast of the Central West and southwestern Gascoyne. Isolated showers and thunderstorm in the Goldfields, eastern Southeast Coastal, western Eucla, and South Interior. Showers and thunderstorms in the north and east Kimberley and the eastern North Interior.
Forecast for Thursday 25 October
Isolated morning showers near the southwest coast. Morning showers near the Gascoyne coast. Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Goldfields, Interior, Eucla and eastern parts of the Gascoyne as well as across the north and east Kimberley.
Forecast for Friday 26 October
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the eastern Kimberley, Interior, Eucla and far eastern parts of the Gascoyne and Goldfields.
Forecast for Saturday 27 October
Showers and thunderstorms about eastern parts of the state. Isolated showers about southern coastal parts east of Albany.
Forecast for Sunday 28 October
Showers and thunderstorm in the far east. Isolated morning showers along southern coastal parts.
