Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad surface trough extends from the southern Kimberley into the northern Gascoyne with another trough contracting east through the Interior. The trough extending from the Kimberley to the Gascoyne will deepen further during Sunday and Monday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough is contracting through eastern parts of the State with a ridge developing to the south. A new trough develops near the west coast during Sunday and deepens further on Monday before moving offshore of the west coast on Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 6 October
Showers through southern districts and the Eucla. A chance of a shower or thunderstorm possible through the South Interior and adjacent Goldfields, mainly during the afternoon.

Forecast for Sunday 7 October
Showers about southern coastal parts of the South West Land Division. Showers, with possible thunderstorms developing about northern and central parts of the South West Land Division, Goldfields, southern Gascoyne, Eucla and adjacent southern Interior.

Forecast for Monday 8 October
Showers about southern coastal parts of the South West Land Division, extending into the Goldfields and adjacent Central Wheat Belt during the day. Showers, with possible morning thunderstorms through the eastern South Interior, eastern Goldfields and eastern Eucla.

Forecast for Tuesday 9 October
Showers about southern coastal parts of the South West Land Division. Showers and thunderstorms developing through remaining central and western parts of the South West Land Division during the day.

Forecast for Wednesday 10 October
Showers and thunderstorms over most parts of the South West Land Division. The chance of showers and thunderstorms over the Interior, most likely in the afternoon and evening.
