Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak surface trough lies near the Kimberley coast and will move offshore from the Kimberley Monday and Tuesday morning. A broad surface trough lies over the Pilbara and extends southwards through the inland Gascoyne and Goldfields and will contract eastwards during the week as a new ridge of high pressure develops over southern parts.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A broad surface trough over western parts of the State will move east during Monday and Tuesday, ahead of a weak cold front expected to reach the southwest Capes early Tuesday morning. A ridge of high pressure will develop in the wake of the front on Wednesday, with another weak cold front expected to move along the south coast overnight Wednesday and Thursday. The high pressure ridge will then extend south and east in the wake of the second front during Thursday.

Mostly clear throughout the state.

Forecast for Monday 24 September
Showers about coastal parts between Cape Naturaliste and Bremer Bay. Possible afternoon showers and thunderstorms about northern and eastern parts of the South West Land Division, Goldfields and western Eucla.

Forecast for Tuesday 25 September
Showers southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay. Possible showers and thunderstorms about eastern parts of the Southeast Coastal district, Goldfields, Eucla and adjacent southern Interior. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms about the far northern Kimberley.

Forecast for Wednesday 26 September
Showers south west of a line Mandurah to Bremer Bay and along the south coast to Esperance. Possible showers and thunderstorms over the northeast of the South West Land Division, Goldfields, southeast Gascoyne, Eucla and southern Interior. over the southwest of the State. Showers and thunderstorms about the far northern Kimberley.

Forecast for Thursday 27 September
Showers about southern coastal parts. Showers and thunderstorms about the far northern Kimberley, north and east Goldfields, southern Interior, Eucla and far eastern Gascoyne.
