Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies over the northern Kimberley with a fresh southeasterly flow extending over the Pilbara and southern Kimberley. A new trough will develop over the western Pilbara on Friday, before moving eastwards on Saturday and Sunday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
On Friday a broad surface trough will develop just inland from the west coast, and will move eastwards on Saturday and Sunday. The surface trough will move into the Eucla on Monday as a weak cold front approaches the SW corner.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 20 September
Showers and possible thunderstorms in the Kimberley, and the North Interior.

Forecast for Friday 21 September
Showers and possible thunderstorms in the Kimberley and northeast Interior, clearing eastwards during the day. The chance of showers near the far western south coast.

Forecast for Saturday 22 September
Showers about southern coastal parts of the South West Land Division. The chance of thunderstorm in the South Coastal and the adjacent districts.

Forecast for Sunday 23 September
Light showers over the South Coastal district. Possible thunderstorms in the eastern parts of the South East Coastal district.

Forecast for Monday 24 September
Light showers about the western south coast and the South Coastal district. Possible thunderstorms in the eastern parts of the South East Coastal district.
