Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A deep trough extends from the inland Pilbara through to the central Interior. A high pressure ridges develops over the south of the State on Wednesday, with the trough pushing north and weakening. A new trough will develop from the western Pilbara through to the southern Interior during Thursday and Friday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak high pressure ridge lies just north of the south coast. A weak cold front will move along the south coast during Tuesday and into the Bight on Wednesday morning, with a high pressure ridge extending along the south coast in its wake. Another weak cold front will brush the western south coast on Thursday, before the high pressure ridge drops south of the State during Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 14 October
Showers near the south coast. Showers and thunderstorms in the eastern Goldfields and adjacent South Interior and Eucla. Areas of raised dust through the central and northern Interior and over the northwest Gascoyne.

Forecast for Tuesday 15 October
Showers over southern coastal districts. Thunderstorms possible about the Eucla, South Interior and adjacent eastern Goldfields. Areas of raised dust in the afternoon and early evening through the central and northern Interior and over the northwest Gascoyne.

Forecast for Wednesday 16 October
Showers over southern coastal districts and along the Eucla coast.

Forecast for Thursday 17 October
Possible showers about the south coast between Augusta and Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Friday 18 October
Light showers possible near the south coast, most likely in the morning. Thunderstorms possible in the central Interior.
