Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad surface trough extends from the western Pilbara through to the North Interior. A strengthening ridge of high pressure will push over the north Interior and inland Pilbara, realigning the surface trough along the Kimberley and Pilbara coasts on Friday, where it will remain over the weekend. A middle level disturbance will develop over the North Interior on Sunday and Monday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A pool of cold air is moving across the south of the State, with showers along the south coast in an onshore flow. A new ridge of high pressure develops over the south of the State overnight, bringing clear skies and cold mornings through southern inland parts for the next couple of days. The high will move into the Bight on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 19 September
Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division and near the west coast south of Jurien Bay. Small hail possible near the south coast.

Forecast for Friday 20 September
Widespread areas of morning frost through inland parts of the South West Land Division and adjacent southwest Goldfields. Showers about southern parts of the South West Land Division and near the Eucla coast. Showers also possible over the southeast Interior in the morning.

Forecast for Saturday 21 September
Areas of morning frost through central and southern inland parts of the South West Land Division and adjacent southwest Goldfields. Showers about southern parts of the South West Land Division and near the Eucla coast.

Forecast for Sunday 22 September
Showers near the southern and Eucla coasts, clearing during the day. Rain areas developing in the northeastern Interior. Isolated areas of morning frost through central and southern inland parts of the South West Land Division and adjacent southwest Goldfields.

Forecast for Monday 23 September
Rain areas over the northern Interior and adjacent Kimberley, with thunderstorms possible.
