Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge lies over the Interior and Pilbara from a strong high located over southeastern Australia. A cloud band is moving through the Pilbara and will clear late Sunday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A rain band over the Gascoyne, Goldfields and Eucla will contract gradually east over the weekend. A strong cold front is moving over the western South West Land Division, with a vigorous westerly flow continuing Sunday and another cold front moving through during Monday. A cold southwesterly flow will continue over southern parts during Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 8 June
Showers over the South West Land Division and southwest Gascoyne. The chance of thunderstorms and small hail southwest of Perth to Albany in the afternoon and evening. Rain areas over the north and east Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla, western and southern Pilbara and southwest Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 9 June
Showers over the Gascoyne, Goldfields, South Interior, Eucla and the South West Land Division. Thunderstorms, small hail and gusty winds likely over southern parts of the South West Land Division. Morning rain over the eastern Pilbara.

Forecast for Monday 10 June
Showers over the Gascoyne, far west Pilbara, Goldfields, western Eucla and the South West Land Division. Thunderstorms and small hail likely over central and southern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Tuesday 11 June
Showers over the Gascoyne, Pilbara, South Interior, Goldfields, Eucla and the South West Land Division. Thunderstorms and small hail and over western and southern parts of the South West Land Division in a gusty southwesterly flow that will gradually ease.

Forecast for Wednesday 12 June
Showers over near coastal parts of the Gascoyne south of Shark Bay and over coastal parts of the South West Land Division.
