Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A strong high pressure system over southeastern Australia extends a ridge across the Interior and Pilbara. A cloud band is moving through the Pilbara and will clear late Sunday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A rain band and associated cold front will clear the Goldfields and Eucla Saturday morning. Another strong cold front will move across the South West Land Division during Saturday, with a vigorous westerly flow persisting in its wake on Sunday. Cold fronts will move through the SW of the State during Monday and Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 7 June
Rain through the Gascoyne, western Pilbara, Goldfields and western Eucla. Showers through the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Saturday 8 June
Rain over the northeast Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla, western and southern Pilbara and southwest Interior, easing during the day. Showers over the remaining Gascoyne and South West Land Division. The chance of a thunderstorm southwest of Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay. The chance of small hail with showers and thunderstorms from late evening over the SW Capes.

Forecast for Sunday 9 June
Showers over the Gascoyne, Goldfields, South Interior, Eucla and the South West Land Division. Thunderstorms, small hail and gusty winds possible over southern parts of the South West Land Division. Morning rain over the eastern Pilbara.

Forecast for Monday 10 June
Showers over the Gascoyne, far west Pilbara, Goldfields, western Eucla and the South West Land Division. Thunderstorms and small hail possible over central and southern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Tuesday 11 June
Showers over the Gascoyne, Pilbara, South Interior, Goldfields, Eucla and the South West Land Division. Thunderstorms and small hail and possible over western and southern parts of the South West Land Division.
