Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies through the west Kimberley and inland from the Pilbara coast. The trough will move into the inland Pilbara later on Wednesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge near the south coast will move slowly east during the week. During Friday evening a front will approach the west coast and move over the west of the State during the weekend.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 18 June
Slight chance of a shower near the western south coast.

Forecast for Wednesday 19 June
Widespread morning frost through the inland South West Land Division, southern Goldfields, Eucla and southeast Interior. Slight chance of a shower near the western south coast.

Forecast for Thursday 20 June
Areas of morning frost through the southern inland South West Land Division, southern Goldfields, Eucla and southeast Interior. Possible showers developing over the Pilbara and northern Gascoyne.

Forecast for Friday 21 June
Rain areas and possible thunderstorms about the Pilbara, Gascoyne and Goldfields. Showers over northern and western parts of the the South West Land Division. Late showers developing near the west coast south of Jurien Bay.

Forecast for Saturday 22 June
Rain and thunderstorms extending throughout western parts of the Gascoyne and South West Land Division, extending through eastern parts of the South West Land Division in the late evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Wednesday.
