Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough in the eastern Pilbara extends through the Interior, and will move east into the Kimberley during Friday. A weak ridge will build over the western Pilbara during Friday. A pre-frontal trough will reach the west Pilbara during Saturday, with another weak ridge building in its wake.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough extends from the South Interior through the Goldfields and towards southwestern parts of the State, and will contract slowly east during Friday. A mid-level disturbance and pre-frontal trough will move over the west coast later on Friday, affecting most of the Southwest Land Division during Saturday as it moves to the east. A cold front will move through the southwest during Sunday, before conditions clear as a ridge of high pressure develops later.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 11 October
Isolated showers and thunderstorms possible in parts of the Great Southern, Southwest, and South Coast districts. Showers and thunderstorms in the Interior and Eucla, and southwestern Kimberley.

Forecast for Friday 12 October
Showers about western parts of the South West Land Division, extending throughout the South West Land Division during the day. Thunderstorms possible about southern parts of the South West Land Division and Eucla, contracting to the southeast during the day. Showers and thunderstorms in the far eastern Interior, extending throughout the northern and eastern Kimberley in the afternoon.

Forecast for Saturday 13 October
Showers and thunderstorms extending to southwest of a line Coral Bay to Eucla. Showers and thunderstorms in the far north Kimberley during the afternoon. Becoming windy through the Gascoyne in the afternoon.

Forecast for Sunday 14 October
Showers southwest of a line Shark Bay to Eucla, with the chance of thunderstorms south of a line Jurien Bay to Eucla. Showers and thunderstorms in the far north Kimberley during the afternoon. Windy over the southern half of the State.

Forecast for Monday 15 October
Isolated showers along southeastern coastal areas, otherwise clear through most of the State. Isolated thunderstorms in the northeastern Kimberley.
