Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies inland from the west Kimberley and Pilbara coasts.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A broad heat trough lies inland of the west coast. A high pressure system will move south of the State on Thursday allowing the trough to deepen off the west coast on Friday morning then move east during the afternoon and on Saturday. A weak cold front will brush the southwest corner of the State on Saturday afternoon followed by a ridge of high pressure building rapidly along the south coast later in the day and on Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 4 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, far inland Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, Goldfields, inland parts of the South West Land Division and western Eucla.

Forecast for Thursday 5 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, inland Pilbara, west Interior, inland Gascoyne, Goldfields and over northeastern parts of the South West Land Division. Possible light drizzle about the south coast.

Forecast for Friday 6 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, eastern Pilbara and adjacent Interior, southeastern Gascoyne, western Goldfields and parts of the South West Land Division away from the west coast. Possible light drizzle about the south coast.

Forecast for Saturday 7 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, South Interior, Goldfields, Eucla, and central and eastern parts of the South West Land Division. Showers developing over areas southwest of a line from Lancelin to Bremer Bay during the day and possible thunderstorms about the western south coast.

Forecast for Sunday 8 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, South Interior and Eucla. Morning showers about the western south coast.
