Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the Kimberley through near coastal parts of the Pilbara. The trough will move inland over the weekend.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge lies near the south coast. A trough will develop near the west coast on Friday, deepening early Saturday before moving inland during Saturday evening and continuing eastwards on Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 7 November
Clear across the State with the exception of some cloud about the south coast.

Forecast for Friday 8 November
Light showers possible about the south coast east of Esperance. Possible afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms over the northern Kimberley. High-based thunderstorms possible over the southern Gascoyne and adjacent Central West and Central Wheat Belt districts in the evening.

Forecast for Saturday 9 November
Possible afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms over the northern Kimberley. High-based thunderstorms possible over much of the South West Land Division. Very hot and with gusty northeasterly winds over the western South West Land Division with a northwesterly change in the evening.

Forecast for Sunday 10 November
Showers and thunderstorms possible southwest of Perth to Albany. High-based thunderstorms possible over the southern Goldfields and South East Coastal districts, clearing during the day. Showers and thunderstorms over the northern Kimberley in the afternoon and evening. Very hot, dry and gusty conditions through the Goldfields, South East Coastal and adjacent Central Wheat Belt and Great Southern districts.

Forecast for Monday 11 November
Cool to mild conditions throughout the South West Land Division with showers possible about the west coast south of Geraldton, and about southern coastal districts. Showers and thunderstorms over the northern Kimberley in the afternoon and evening.
