Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough will lie near the Kimberley and Pilbara coasts early next week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A deep trough in the Goldfields will reach the Interior and Eucla on Monday. A ridge of high pressure will build over the southwest of the State in wake of the trough early next week. A weak front will brush the south coast on Wednesday. In wake of the front a new ridge of high pressure will develop along the south coast on Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 20 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, Interior, inland Pilbara, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, South East Coastal and western Eucla.

Forecast for Monday 21 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the western Kimberley, inland Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne, Interior, northern and eastern Goldfields and Eucla, mainly in the afternoon and early evening. Showers also developing over areas southwest of a line from Cape Naturaliste to Albany in the evening.

Forecast for Tuesday 22 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, inland Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne, Interior and northern Eucla, mainly in the afternoon and early evening. Showers over areas southwest of a line from Bunbury to Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Wednesday 23 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, South Interior and northern Eucla, mainly in the afternoon and early evening. Showers over areas southwest of a line from Perth to Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Thursday 24 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and central Kimberley, mainly in the afternoon and early evening. Showers near the south coast east of Esperance.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Monday.
